About Me

We are on Native land.

We are on Native land.

We are on Native land.

I’m Amy (she/her), a queer white cis-woman.  An East-Coast ex-pat, I have lived in the Twin Cities since 1999. I am a professional visual artist who taught art at the university-level for almost two decades. A longtime activist, I am a rabble-rouser, smartass and a love and liberation advocate. I’m a half-assed Buddhist, full-assed book addict and aspiring hereditary Italian Stregx. I value kindness and tenderness above most other things. In the before-times, one of my favorite things to do was fill my table with beloveds and cook a feast for them.

I offer LGBTQ therapy, BIPOC affirming therapy, art therapy, narrative therapy, trauma therapy, EMDR and Somatic Experiencing®. My work is liberatory healing solidarity and justice work. I have developed a radical, non-pathologizing, justice-doing somatic narrative and arts healing practice that is grounded in love and deep respect for the authority, agency, dignity, creativity and brilliance of the folx I am honored allow me to accompany them through this work.

I am here for the revolution!

Amy has an incredible gift for making people feel truly seen and held, empowered in making changes in their lives, and holding a truly loving and safe space for healing..."
